If you create a file by clicking 'Create Document' at the top or clicking the first 'New Vault File' within a directory, the file will be created in that current directory. Files created through other operations will be saved to the main Vault directory (the folder with the Vault Logo at the top).

Vault does not support password reset or recovery. This is a security feature - your files are encrypted with your password and cannot be accessed without it. We recommend using a password manager to securely store your passwords.

All Vault subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID account. To view or cancel your subscription: Go to Settings on your iOS device > Tap your name > Subscriptions > Find Vault > Manage your subscription. You can cancel anytime, and your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.

Vault offers premium features through an optional subscription. If you see a charge, it's likely from an active subscription. You can review your subscription status in your Apple ID settings. If you believe you were charged in error, please contact our support team at vaultapp@163.com.

Vault uses encryption to protect your files. Your files are encrypted before being stored and can only be decrypted with your password. Combined with local-only storage, this provides security for your sensitive data.

Yes, you can backup your Vault data using iTunes or Finder on your computer. When you backup your iOS device, Vault data is included. However, remember that backups are not encrypted by default, so ensure your computer backups are secure.
